My name is Alex Still and I’m a 17-year-old student from Pernaja and I am currently studying at Prakticum with aspirations of working in the field of media in my adult years.

I became interested in this project because of the opportunity to really challenge myself.

The theme gave me a vision of how I wanted my photos to look, thus the black and white photos. My theme within uncertainty was energy, i.e. rising energy prices and the effects this has on our planet to be exact.

The sources that I selected were an eco-friendly energy station in Porvoo, a wind turbine near Vaasa and a couple rows of solar panels in Vanhakylä, Loviisa.
