My name is Jonas Österberg, and I come from Sibbo, Finland, where I study Media and Art. Since elementary school I have been fascinated by the universe. I began by observing the night sky with a telescope, and soon photography became a natural extension of that curiosity. To me, borders and boundaries represent humanity’s limits—the threshold between the infinite and the unknown. In an uncertain world and times of conflict, it feels comforting to turn toward something untouched by human influence. No matter what happens on our small planet, we remain tiny compared to the cosmos, yet our existence is rare and meaningful.
