My name is Alicia and I’m a student from Schillerska in Gothenburg. In recent years I’ve started to love photography and the expression that comes with it. I often like to capture the moments around me into still images that I can look back on. This project was not what I usually do, as it was more artistic.

“The borders of society” is how I interpreted the theme. I’m thinking of all the expectations that are put on girls today. That you should perform and act a certain way to please everyone else. Always put on makeup, a smile and be nice to everybody. It is an unrealistic ideal to live by.
