My name is Esther Turner and I’m currently studying media at Schillerska gymnasium in Gothenburg. 

When coming up with the idea for this photoshoot I was thinking a lot about gender expression and what makes someone a man or a woman. This topic is interesting to me as gender identity and expression is mostly manmade. I wanted to explore these themes in an overexaggerated way. What happens when you break the borders and boundaries of gender? I also want to give credit to drag kings and queens for heavily inspiring the makeup and clothing.
