Lisa Schachinger
My name is Lisa Schachinger, and I am a seventeen-year-old photographer studying media at Schillerska Gymnasiet. From a young age, I have been drawn to various forms of artistry, and in recent years, my passion has shifted towards the digital realm.
There are moments when I examine my body from head to toe, a sense of unease creeping into my mind. The feeling settles in my stomach, leaving me disconnected from myself, as though I don’t belong in my own skin. I notice the scars, bumps, and unevenness, perceiving them as flaws. But then, I look at the trees. They stand there, always bare, always exposed, embracing their vulnerability. And I realize—we are the same.
In this project, I aimed to capture those “flaws” to reveal that they are, in fact, what make us who we are.
