My name is Fideli Bäckman Hagström. I’m 17 years old and live in Gothenburg, Sweden. I have been passionate about photography from a young age. Coming from a very creative family, where art in various forms has always been significant, creativity has become an integral part of my life. 

Currently, I am studying Media at Schillerska Gymnasium, where I am learning different photography techniques and refining my skills. For a long time, I enjoyed capturing close-up photos with intricate details. However, after exploring various styles, I have found a balance that combines different approaches.

My photo series on the theme “To Belong” explores the emotions of loneliness and emptiness, depicting the longing and need to be part of something, to feel connected.
